If you know virtually nothing about the Internet yet would like to publish your own free website and actually do it on the spot, this workshop is for you. Using the tools and facilities on the net you will be able to build and publish your site during the session. All sites come equipped with email, text, graphics, audio and video capabilities. You will be able to update it anywhere, anytime. No previous experience is necessary.

Self contained 2-day Intensive Script Writing Workshop with award winning filmmaker Laurence Henson. Given monthly in Dublin since 1997 this excellent workshop has been taken by people from a wide range of ages and backgrounds - from those with no writing experience to novelists & professional scriptwriters. Each student takes away a file of info on contracts & payment scales from the world of film & TV; a bound booklet of course notes for future reference. Workshop covers: -positioning the audience-Hollywood and Europe-Aristotle who?-the writing process-screenplay structure and how it works-difference between cinema and TV-making a scene-identification-forming characters-secrets of dialogue-show not tell-narrative drive-genre-adaptation-layout-legal-selling your screenplay.
