			Overview of the process of documentary production discussing the elements of film style and subjectivity. Interview techniques, narrative and documentary structure, editing, use of music, teamwork and ethics of documentary film making.
		The fundamentals of film photography on an Aaton 16mm-Super 16mm camera. Discover the creative possibilities and technical limitations of various film stocks, how to load them, learn to determine exposures, how to select lenses, perspective and point of view. How does film respond to light? An understanding of film emulsion, lighting, colour, use of filters, saturation, film processing and printing. The tutor will demonstrate camera techniques with examples from his work.
