The Belfast Mela returned to the Botanic Gardens for it's biggest event to date. Featuring a huge collection of artists, such as Eternal Taal, Desi Brave Hearts and Ulfah Collective, who are a Muslim Gospel Choir, the festival brings a favour of world culture to the city each year.
Belfast environmentalist and R&B singer Del Halligan is passionate about the dockland area of Sailortown, currently being redeveloped to the point of extinction. Halligan mourns in words and music the loss not just of a place, but of the community which once lived and worked there.

As part of their services the Wave Trauma Centre helps people who have been affected by the Troubles. This documentary tells the story of 3 young people through their experiences at the centre.

Painter and musician J B Vallely talks about his life and work as one of Northern Ireland's most respected and productive artists. Born in Armagh, J B Vallely was painting from an early age and by the time he was thirty was regarded as one of the most exciting Irish painters. He talks about his love of music, his one man show celebrating 50 years and his fondness for Armagh.


BECOMING IRISH: STORIES OF AN INDIAN COMMUNITY
Set against the backdrop of the last forty years, members of the Indian community reflect on their experiences of life, the Troubles, the establishment of the Indian Community Centre and their integration into the wider Northern Irish society.
Mulholland after care service provides a service for youth who have to leave care services when they turn 18 years old. The organisation helps these young people to organise accommodation, find employment and supports them to develop their skills in finance and living on their own. The organisation also offers floating support and a mentoring service.
