We recognise that many of the initiatives we embark upon will be offering a first time opportunity for older people to participate in a moving image project and we offer follow on opportunities through our active citizenship programme and our new media training workshops and schools for participants to become involved in further creative activities within our organisation.

We are open to collaboration and partnerships at all levels . We encourage everyone we work with to develop creative projects both of their own within our programme of activities.

We also encourage groups and individuals to work in partnership with us on activities which we have initiated.

East Belfast Trilogy is an intergenerational project which explores the history of east Belfast and examines how the experiences of older residents and former employees in the area's major industries can contribute to our understanding of the present and future plans for the area more

OLDER PEOPLE'S COMMISSIONER
As OFMDFM launch the official consultation on the proposed powers and duties for the Older People’s Commissioner in Northern Ireland, Age Concern, Help the Aged in partnership with Age Sector Platform have established the ‘we agree’ campaign. This programme highlights the ‘we agree’ campaign and urges everyone to get involved.

SUMMER TEA DANCE
Held at the Black Box, Summer Tea Dance was an opportunity for the elderly to enjoy themselves with music and dance. The event is organized by Mullan Mews, a supported housing scheme, specially designed to meet the needs of people with dementia.
