AU Magazine's Jonny Tiernan introduces the session by the Bell X1 guitarist, who came into the NvTv studios to play as his solo project. His debut single was released in June 2007 and since then he has been getting widespread recognition as a performer in his own right. David was short listed for the Choice Music Award as well as receiving two nominations for Meteor Awards.

Dolbro Dan aka Daniel Mulligan is a 23 year old songwriter from Bangor, Northern Ireland. ClearIy influenced by Bob Dylan, he plays his own alternative folk songs on harmonica and 'dobro' resonator guitar.

Previously available as a podcast for a limited time, Biffy Clyro are online again as they recently announced they will returning to Belfast in October 2009. This session was recorded just before taking to the stage for their sell-out show last year at the Mandela Hall, Belfast.

As part of NvTv's CQAF sessions we invited one of Northern Irelands best up-and-coming bands to perform in-front of a small studio audience. Having just released their debut single 'Young Blood', the band are about to embark on their first UK tour. They are definitely a band to watch for the future.


Kick out the Jams - Leya
Leya was voted IRELAND'S MOST PROMISING BAND FOR 2006 by HOTPRESS magazine. The band signed to Rubyworks records and released their long awaited debut album, 'Watch you don't take off' in the UK and in Ireland. The programme consists of 6 songs performed by frontman Ciaran Gribben and bassist Gareth Hughes.


Kick out the Jams - Dan Donnelly
Dan Donnelly comes into the NvTv studios for a special acoustic set. Dan, who lives in New York, was the lead singer in Watercress in the early 1990's and enjoyed widespread acclaim. He now tours with his new band Sonovagun throughout America.
Kick out the Jams - Evan Dando
AU special featuring Evan Griffith Dando, most famous for fronting the alternative rock band The Lemonheads. He is the only original member left in the current Lemonheads line-up, having served as lead singer since the band's original formation in 1986.
Kick out the Jams - Joby Fox
Ex bass guitarist from the late 1980s rock band Energy Orchard... remember their chart hit 'Belfast' .... Joby plays some acoustic tracks in the NvTv studio and gives us a sneak preview of his new single.
KICK OUT THE JAMS - DIVINE COMEDY
St. Jude's Church on the Ormeau Road was a fitting venue for one of KOTJ's most enjoyable sessions to date. Neil Hannon performed an intimate solo set for our cameras. A performance which included recent single 'Indie Disco' as well as the classic hit 'Our Mutual Friend'.
