Interview with Niall Connolly, of Muck and Brass blog cited recently as the reason why 11 councillors resigned in Somerton in England.

Alan Meban (Alan in Belfast) and Brian Crowe (Burke's Corner) return to the show this week and are joined by Slugger O'Toole's, Chris Donnelly. Topics discussed include preparations for the approaching (and possibly) divisive centenary celebrations raised by the purchase of Edward Carson's old uniforms; what is meant by community confidence in the context of policing and justice; how political parties engage with their electorate and what a cycling and pedestrian bridge in the Gasworks and Embankment areas will mean to the city of Belfast.

On this week's show Máirtín Ó Muilleoir, Mick Fealty and Gary Mc Keown discuss how digital media affects elections and how we come to terms with the legacy of the Troubles. Also up for discussion are the plans for independently funded news consortia being put forward by government and the plans of the industry regulator, Ofcom, in this regard.

Discussion includes social housing in East Belfast, the problems of a Deputy First Minister and where to now for the dead tree industry. Also, extended highlights of the Slugger Awards that were held in Belfast last week.
