For anyone interested in making films this workshop looks at one of the most important parts of the filmmaking process - the edit.
Using finished scenes and sequences as examples we look at how they were constructed and why various decisions were made.
From traditional narrative films and documentaries to experimental music videos and video art this class explores various ways in which the edit can be used to bring stories to life.
Tutor: Brian Philip Davis
Brian Philip Davis is an experienced filmmaker and editor of film and television. Recent credits include the feature film 'Pumpgirl' and 26 episodes of 'Big City Park', a new kids show for CBeebies.
