Access Media is the community media initiative from Northern Visions.

If you feel you also have something to say, or skills to contribute, then Access Media can help you find a voice by providing facilities, training and equipment for those willing to volunteer to make programmes for NvTv.

HEROs - Co-operation Ireland works with different community groups from Finglas (Dublin) and Short Strand (Belfast) and with the Belfast Giants, to teach young people the values of working together as a team. Northern Visions followed the young people on their week long journey of ice hockey, bonding and group master classes.... watch film

Older People's Commissioner - As OFMDFM launch the official consultation on the proposed powers and duties for the Older People’s Commissioner in Northern Ireland, Age Concern, Help the Aged in partnership with Age Sector Platform have established the ‘we agree’ campaign. The main aim of the campaign is to influence the decision making by sending a very clear message to politicians… we need an independent Commissioner with sufficient powers to protect the interests of older people, uphold their rights and act with urgency in cases of need!  This programme highlights the ‘we agree’ campaign and urges everyone to get involved... watch the video here

Waiting for Change
The residents of Parkend Street, Clanchattan Street and Alexandra Ave in North Belfast find themselves in a catch 22 situation as public bodies play a waiting game in what the residents describe as 'a cash strapped' Department of Social Development. 

This project is planned for production in October and if you would like to get involved in supporting this media project and the residents please apply through our volunteering scheme.
