4. The Budget. This is a vital part of any film production, ignore it at your peril. It is an area where estimates from companies/people can vary widely depending on the format they are shooting on, type of camera/edit equipment used, level of professionalism, production values they bring to the programme etc. So you will have to carefully determine exactly what you are getting.
It is fairly easy to translate a page of a script or treatment into costs, the hard bit is to complete your film with the actual amount of money you have raised. A typical budget might include the following items:-
