A few of the kids did some work at home to produce a script for a practice video on the difference in musical tastes between older and younger people. This is a series of pieces based on the music of each decade, from the 60s on, with an introduction by a presenter, a track that represents the decade mimed to by one of the group, and an interview with an aficionado. Two of the writers were very sensitive about suggestions for improvements to the idea and regarded this as unnecessary criticism.

The group is meeting in a bowling green clubhouse, which is surreal but a lot warmer than the parish hall we were using. Magherafelt District Council has promised us a room in the town hall whenever it's finished.

The subject matter for the final film is a hard one to get started on. We are thinking about models and representations of the town - a point of view, planners' plans, developers' promises, and perceived needs.
