November 15th 2001 The group meets in a church hall on Sundays. They made a drama film over the last couple of years, which was quite successful. There is quite an age range involved so the variation in maturity and interests is quite marked. The subject for their film is the effect of unplanned or badly planned development on a relatively rural district. It's taking time to come up with an angle that will get them going. As there are 8 or 9 in the group they are doing 2 separate practice videos - one on a comparison between the music that old people and young people like (be prepared for a shock on what constitutes an old person), and the other is a game show involving a treasure hunt round Magherafelt. We will be inviting people to come to speak to them about aspects of the final film. Simon
