Ligoniel January 22nd I had a meeting with the youth workers with Ligoniel Community Centre Young Women's Group before the meeting with the girls. There was a discussion about how we can relate the material they produce to that produced by the Ballysillan group. The constraints that this puts on the process could be turned to our advantage as it will inform the style of the film. We all looked through the interview done in the last session and discussed the good and bad points. There was good stuff on underage drinking and gambling and the sighting of a reindeer. Everyone thought we might get better quality material if we stage the interviews outside or at least in a place that related to what the person is talking about. We decided that the next session would concentrate on the research material available on Ligoniel and on interview and shooting techniques for interior and exterior interviews. Simon
