Saturday 15th December 2001 After lunch at Northern Visions, we commenced filming, it was very hectic for the performers but Samuel, Sherepsa, Nicholas and Deepika did their best to capture the atmosphere on camera. It was quite intensive and the group had to be careful not to get in the way of the performers. We had a quick break before the show started at 5:00 pm, and we went to take a look at another film crew working on a drama shoot around the corner. Heading back for the cabaret, which was a sell out, we realised our movement would be very limited from now on, as would be co-ordinating battery and tape changes. The camera operators found their optimum positions and carried on with the filming. Unfortunately we didn't manage to get into the dressing room during or after the show, but we think we can round up the story with some filming of Kudze. We hope to get some good voice over material from Kudze as we weren't given much opportunity to get the interviews we wanted during the rehearsals. It was a long hard day in the end, but I think everyone enjoyed it. We are to meet again next Saturday if possible to review the material and start thinking about the edit. Angela
