22nd March 2002 Unfortunately Connor was not in attendance due to illness so all that was covered will have to given to him next week. Today's session looked at the story overall and how each piece would fit together. With the opportunity to interview the education minister set for the following week, we looked at what questions needed to be asked and how best to ask them. They looked at how to incorporate Children's Express into the interview. It was decided that CE should interview and the group should film it rather than be directly involved. Sarah and Amy then gave us an update as to how they were doing with the music for the film. Dean
2nd April 2002 With the group being off school we were able to set up a shoot in Children's Express. The CE story team were meeting for the first time and we wanted to capture it. We decided to use two cameras as the whole thing would be happening real-time, so rather than losing bits while changing camera angles etc. the two cameras were set up to cover both sides of the table at different frame sizes. The kids soon relaxed and forgot about the cameras and the group was able get what they needed. Later the group looked at there results and the other material and began to think of how each part would go together and the possible problems and solutions to each part. The group is working as a team now which is great to see. Dean
